COL(R) Warren Sponsler recently retired from the US Army after 26+ years of commissioned service leading units and organizations around the world in both combat and peacetime.
During his expansive career, he was commissioned on active duty as an Armor Officer from the United States Military Academy at West Point, led and trained units of all sizes up through the Brigade level, commanded an operational combined arms armor and infantry battalion stationed at Fort Carson, and was on deployment in the Middle East region.
In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from West Point and a Masters in Military Studies from the Marine Corps University, he was also selected as a US Army Senior Service College Fellow with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Security Studies Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His Army career culminated as the Deputy Director and Chief of Staff for the US Army Futures Command’s Next Generation Combat Vehicle Cross Functional Team at the Detroit Arsenal, Michigan.
Now, he works with the National Advanced Mobility Consortium to assist its member companies to develop defense technology for the Department of Defense. His expansive military experience and expertise make him a prime resource for the defense & technology industries.
