This is Power Your Story, a podcast produced by students at Ray Graham Training Center High School in Chicago. We represent diverse voices, telling our real life stories through the power of podcasting technology. Each season is produced by a new group of students under the mentorship of digital media producer, Andrea Klunder, creating personal journals, interviews, and educational pieces about the topics that matter most: bullying, social change, aft, music, food and dreams for the future. Production support from After School Matters and The Creative Impostor Studios via the Podcast Tech: Power Your Story program. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We hope you learn something new by listening. Peace.
Seems like everyone’s starting their own podcast these days. So how do YOU stand out in a sea of podcasts? Hint: It’s NOT about the microphone. There is NO one-size-fits-all tutorial that is sufficient. So let me help. I want to help you develop and communicate YOUR STORY — the passion behind the podcast, the thing that makes your show unique and valuable to your listeners, and the secret ingredients that will help you feel successful and make your show the envy of everyone else.
"Impostor syndrome." How does it show up for you - self-doubt, hesitation, procrastination, perfectionism, comparison, competition? Or a little gremlin in your head that says, "Who do you think you are? You can't do THAT!" You have something to share with the world -- maybe it’s just the spark of a creative idea or an entire world of inspired vision! Andrea Klunder and guests show you how to be BOLD and take action, to put your creative work into the world, to have your voice be heard despite all obstacles, fears and doubts. http://www.thecreativeimpostor.com

Who’s a wounded healer? It’s any one of us who works in a caring profession and is bravely doing their own work, while helping others. My goal is to share the parallel journey we as healers walk along with our clients and how we attend to our own humanity while caring for others. My podcast is about conversations and community building, what we can learn from each other, and how we can help heal each other. We’re cultivating a space where we celebrate vulnerability, authenticity and “showing up.” It’s a place to meet people I think will inspire you, help you heal and grow – and who you can relate to at the same time. I’m inspired by C.G. Jung’s “wounded healer” concept, where the healer’s own hurt that gives the measure of his own power to heal. Another one of my heroes, Brene Brown, puts it best: “Mindfully practicing authenticity during our most soul-searching struggles is how we invite grace, joy and gratitude into our lives.” Together, I hope this marriage of vulnerability and professionalism will inspire and entertain you...enjoy!
Deep conversations about life, relationships, and recovery. In this personal storytelling podcast, licensed professional clinician, transformational speaker, and conversation starter Lisa Lackey will show you how to take the front seat in your life, to step out where you’ve been hesitant, and to move forward in being all that you and others have told you that you can’t be. All you have to do is be willing to show up in your own life the best you can, and come on in to join the conversation.
