Hi, I’m Tawny Platis, the Witty Widow and creator of the new Podcast feed Death Is Hilarious. It’s one feed, with three shows about coping with loss and grief through comedy and entertainment. When my husband and fellow creator of the Dirty Bits Podcast passed away in November of 2019 when I was 28 years old, I immediately fell into writing and comedy as a way to cope. Now, I’m traveling around the country to interview your favorite podcasters and artists on how they found relief from grief through laughter and comedy on my new show, The Witty Widow. This show will also feature segments from my stand-up comedy routines. The podcast is currently in production and is slated for release in early 2020. Tune in for bonus shows now like Monday Mourning Maisel, where you can Join Midge Maisel and me as we cope with the loss of our spouses and learn lessons about moving through grief with comedy. And Entertaining Grief, a series where I talk about how watching and relating to movies and shows has been helping me gain perspective on and cope with the death of my husband. Search Death Is Hilarious in your favorite podcast listening app and subscribe... or visit TawnyVoice.com/podcast to subscribe and listen in. About Our First Podcast: The Dirty Bits The Dirty Bits podcast was a show that covered the fierce, sexy, funny, scandalous, freaky, and salacious stories from history your teacher probably left out. Casually told by a sarcastic voice-over actor, as a caricature of herself and Southern California. You can still find episodes featuring George and me on the Death Is Hilarious feed!
