About This List

These are the podcasts I listen to about audio, production techniques, voiceover, creating podcasts and everything that goes into making the sounds we make
  1. Two passionate audio engineering nerds --- Kush Audio gear designer and avowed analog snob Gregory Scott, and ITB mixing pro Nathan Daniel --- crack themselves up while answering listeners' questions about everything from gear and plugins, to the psychology of mixing, to what makes a song grab the listener's ears and heart and how to get more of it into your productions. Whether you mix professionally on a 9000J or in your bedroom on Cubase, these ballbusting fanatics of sound will spark your thinking in creative new ways, help you bust out of your own limiting habits, and get you laughing in the process.
  2. Podcast veteran Dan Benjamin answers your questions about podcasting and recording, audio and video equipment, software, mic technique, pre- and post-production, workflows, and more.
  3. Hosted by voice over and audio pros, George 'The Tech' Whittam, Robert Marshall from Source Connect and SUM1, Darren 'Robbo' Robertson from Voodoo Sound and Andrew Peters a voice over talent and founder of Realtime Casting. The Pro Audio Suite features interviews with key players not just in VO but anything to do with audio and voice over. They also talk about tech stuff, VO tips and industry news! The Pro Audio Suite delivered fortnightly.
  4. Daily news about the global podcasting and on-demand audio industry. Curated by james@crid.land - visit podnews.net to subscribe to our free, daily, newsletter for all the links and more
  5. Chris chats with podcasters and audio experts about their podcast production equipment, software and workflow. You will learn step-by-step how they are producing podcasts, solutions to common audio issues, and plenty of tips and tricks. By listening every week you will glean A TON of audio engineering knowledge and skills that will make a HUGE difference in the quality of your sound, not to mention save you a lot of time. Your host Chris Curran has a background in podcast production (Forbes, Dun & Bradstreet, J&J, etc) as well as music production (Sarah McLachlan, Jeff Buckley, Foreigner, etc). When he entered podcasting in 2012, he noticed that most podcasters (and producers) do not have a solid understanding of fundamental audio engineering concepts, which sabotages the quality of their sound from the very beginning. This show, as well as the Podcast Engineering School, helps podcasters and producers reach professional levels of podcast audio production.
  6. Bang & Olufsen presents Sound Matters: a series of podcasts looking at – and listening to – all the sounds of the world around us. Forthcoming instalments will investigate all kinds of sounds that happen in our noisy cosmos, how we listen to them, the stories we tell about them, and all the ideas, inventions, discoveries, possibilities and ideas that live in the realm of the audible. Written and produced by Tim Hinman and supported by Bang & Olufsen.
  7. Dan Lenard and George Whittam bring you East West Audio Body Shop, a place to discuss home studios and answer your voice-over studio technical questions. See more about the show and submit your questions at http://ewabs.com. This is the audio-only version of the Podcast. The video cast can also be found at our website, and the live taping feed is on Facebook Live and at vobs.tv.
  8. A lovingly crafted podcast that reveals the stories behind the world's most recognizable and interesting sounds.
