About This List

Summer's coming to a close but there are still some beach weekends ahead. Instead of a beach read, consider a beach podcast. Something fun, light, entertaining. Pass the sunscreen and get these in your earbuds!
  1. Spring 2142 and Gated Galaxies has launched its 400 Oz-8000 ships, each carrying 50,000 "resting guests" to, hopefully, a new home on a shiny, brand-new planet. As soon as they find one. IF they find one. This is the story of one of those ships – the Oz 9 – and its tiny crew of hopeless incompetents. So far, they've been in space half an hour and several hundred people are dead. So... bright future, clearly.
  2. The seralized comedy musical podcast adventure
  3. Hear what The New York Times calls "the future of musicals"... 36 Questions, a three-part podcast musical starring Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton. 36 Questions is produced by Two-Up, the producers of Limetown and The Wilderness. Thank you for listening.
  4. Turn on your radio and laugh. Traffic Therapy is a monthly sketch podcast taking on the tough questions society is too scared to ask like “What if Indiana Jones was performed by a cast of octopi?” “Why do people attend Artist’s Workshops?” “Do you wish there was more yelling in Back to the Future?” and “What if semiconductors had feelings?”
  5. Finish the work week in all-out hysterics with short stories written and read by Thaddeus Ellenburg. Released twice-monthly on Fridays.
  6. An improvised dark comedy sci-fi podcast by the award-winning creators of Alba Salix. Humanity’s final hope lies in terraforming a new world. A fleet of engineering ships are sent in advance of the colony ships sure to follow in their wake. But one lone ship becomes separated from the fleet and crashes onto an alien planet.Support this show at: patreon.com/civilizedpod
  7. An otherworldly artist collective experimenting with podcasts, music, and etc. Each month, we release a new episode with original music. Then, we release that music as an EP on cassette and all major streaming services.
  8. Just Press Playhouse has been creating Audio Fiction since 2016 beginning with Flushed With Love. Their stand alone series Just Press Playhouse Presents has produced other well received episodes such as “Lights On in Puerto Rico” (featured on Moonlight Audio Theatre) and "Kid Pros"! They have been selected to the HearNow Audio Festival in 2017 and 2019 for "Flushed with Love", "Fool's Gold" and "Lights On in Puerto Rico". If you love what we do check out our serial "Time Trip!" which was selected as a participant of the NATF Playhouse at the 2018 HearNow Festival and Episode 10 was listed as one of the "Top 100 Episodes of 2018".
  9. A Congresswoman’s meeting of eccentric VIPs at her secluded estate is interrupted by a deadly shooting. The unpredictable detective, Inspector Virlo Morton Lee, is coaxed out of a self-imposed early retirement in a desperate ploy to save the day. They survived the murder, but will they survive him?
  10. Comedy fiction podcast that follows the adventures of a wanna-be actress as she navigates the treacherous waters of Hollywood in her quest to become the Next Big Thing.
