Alex Hutchinson is a National Magazine Award-winning journalist whose work appears in Outside, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, The New Yorker,and other publications. He recently wrote a book titled Endure: Mind, Body and the Curiously Elastic limits of Human Performance. Alex was a former middle and long distance runner for the Canadian National team. Alex’s current primary focus is the study of the science of endurance and fitness, which he covers for Outside magazine.
