I really enjoyed this interview. Simon has a great voice for radio and I found myself engrossed in his adventures. Alan asks good questions to guide the interview and draw out anecdotes. I will be reading both of Simon’s books even though they are both so different.

What can I say-I seem to be repeating myself weekly, but: another fabulous interview! 39 minutes, but the time just flew! Everytime I looked down, it was about 10 minutes later. Such an entertaining chat. And I can thoroughly recommend Simon's new book, The Coconut Wireless.

Another brilliant interview. I love Alan's relaxed style as he puts his guests at ease. Simon is an interesting and amusing interviewee, and I am looking forward to reading his memoir. I did read and enjoy "An Englishman in New York " which Simon edited and collated from his father's letters.
