Father and daughter team from Toronto, Canada is working towards a goal of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail together. Dan is at the mid-point of his life and about to celebrate a half-century and Chantal is now old enough to enjoy a cold glass of cider in Canada. By the time they embark, she will be able to enjoy a Northwestern craft IPA in the United States. I say Northwestern since she doesn't enjoy beer... so maybe 3 months into the hike she will learn the "hike and reward" of a cold beer around a campfire with our new tramily. (If anyone will hike with us).

Canadians, Dan and Chantal Deveau are planning the longest walk home. Hiking 4,265km/2,650mi between the Mexican border to Canada along the (PCT) The Pacific Crest Trail in 2024. Follow along as they plan for this adventure. They will record + document this journey from the trail, small resupply towns, around the campfire, and when they lay exhausted in their tent.
