Mappin's sales platform is expected to open in mid-June. In 2010, the
department store chain was bought by the Fares family, which runs the
Marabraz group, for an estimated 5 million reais. The project is run by cousins
Nader and Abdul Fares, who currently runs the group alongside uncle Nasser.
