Simon Oxlade, Mat Purvis and Claire Dukes are film fans, not critics. Armed with an annual cinema pass they spend their own money and then meet up in the pub to review what they have seen.

Full of warm, witty banter, and sometimes gloriously profane, these shows are like sitting in a pub with your mates complaining about movies. While they may know what an F-stop is, and what the heck a gaffer does, the team are honest film fans who reflect the opinions of the average cinema goer with their local multiplex at the end of their street.
You won't get a score, but you will get an honest assessment of what a handful of average Joes think of the flick and is it worth your money.

Each show usually consists of some news, some gossip, if anyone of note has died recently there's a respectful obituary before the three or four reviews are delivered. In between there are insults, jokes, beer and smiles.

We're not the best criticism podcast out there, but we're probably the warmest.

The one with Ocean's 8, Incredibles 2, Sicario 2 and How it ends
Reviews of Ocean's 8, Incredibles 2, Sicario 2 and How it Ends After the unfortunate death of Mat, and a ridiculously long time away, Claire and Simon return to Swindon's legendary Beehive pub for a look at the world of movies. Reviews of Ocean's 8 with THAT cast - Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway. Is it any good , well, er.... oh look just listen to it will you. Simon caught the Incredibles 2, Pixar's finest film finally gets a sequel - only 14 years after the original. Is it good? Yes, of course it is. Sicario 2 sees Benicio Del Toro get unleashed on the Mexican Drug Cartels by Josh Brolin's CIA enforcer. Shady dealing, high tension scenes and a cruel twist or two. Claire was given homework and dutifully watched Netflix exclusive film How it Ends starring Forrest Whittaker. How does it end? Badly, apparently. All combined with jokes, opinions and Claire loses a pint and several peanuts.   The show is brought to you in association with Sudo headphones. Check them out as we've tried them and they are seriously good!!! The one with Deadpool 2, Solo and Happy!
Reviews of Deadpool 2, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Happy! Apologies Claire fans as she's away this week so it falls on the classic duo of Simon and Mat to take a look at the news and perform some reviews. This week we admire Harvey Weinstein's chutzpah (no, not that), giggle over the puppet legal antics on The Happytime Murders, review James Marsden's career (which appears to have ended now he's signed up to Sonic The Hedghog), questioned the need for TopGun 2, and admired just how manly Jeremy Renner actually is. Reviews this week of foul-mouthed mercenary Deadpool's second film with added Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz (and Rob Delany). We also look at the Han Solo origin film with mucho Chewie and Lando, but also added Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton and Emilia Clarke. Finally a look at the utterly bonkers and extremely violent cop/hitman/missing-father/small-pink-unicorn adventure series Happy! with Chris Meloni and the voice of Patton Oswalt. The one with Godard, Mon Amour, The Outsider, Anon and Avengers: Infinity War
Admit One reviews Godard, Mon Amour (otherwise known as Le Redoubtable), The Outsider, Anon and Avengers:Infinity War. Simon has seen Michel Hazanavicius' latest film, Le Redoubtable, an examination of the tempestuous relationship between Anne Wiazemsky and Jean-Luc Godard and Godard's switch from making lively fluffy funny films to making lively political polemics. Claire reviews The Outsider starring  Jared Leto as an American G.I. who owes his freedom to the Yakuza in post-WW2 Japan. Simon reviews Netflix release Anon, the latest film from writer director Andrew Niccol. A futuristic retro-noir obsessed with personal technology and the blending of digital and actual reality, the film stars Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfried tangled up in a murder plot. Mat, meanwhile, has visited the actual cinema to see Avengers: Infinity War, the culmination of phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
