All Hail Yog is that most rare of beasts: an Actual Play of an evil-focused campaign. AHY is presented in 9-10 episode long arcs following a rotating cast of player characters in service to the elder evil Yog. The arcs build upon one another and do not require familiarity with preceding arcs, though listening in posted order is rewarding in terms of plot growth.
AHY avoids the usual pitfalls of an evil-focused campaign. The characters are wicked beings of power, yet do not run amok because of the overarching plot that binds them together in service of Yog's goals. The players are all clearly having great fun, presenting both comedically-exaggerated portrayls of fantasy villain tropes and yet still allowed to plumb the depths of the same for powerful moments of characterization. The campaign world is thoroughly realized; the NPCs have clear motivations and the world keeps moving despite (in spite of?) the villains. For fans of fantasy TTRPG actual plays, AHY is not to be missed.
