Working Together:The Photographers of the Kamoinge Workshop is an unprecedented exhibition currently at The Whitney that chronicles the formative years of the Kamoinge Workshop, a collective of Black photographers established in New York City in 1963. Assistant curator Carrie Springer and featured photographer, Herb Robinson, one of the founding members of the collective will join to talk about the Kamoinge Workshop’s impact on the Black Arts Movement of the 1970’s.
