Great discussion of the latest news stories from around the world. Engaging and really well hosted. Listen now!
I love fun facts and trivia. I also love getting answers to questions I didn’t even know I had. This podcast is perfect for that. Dan does all the legwork to bring his listeners a veritable oasis of information across a plethora of topics.
Dan pulls off the solo host thing in spades. His delivery is engaging and his material is well written. It sounds polished and off the cuff even though I am certain it isn't. It is a fun way to hear about some of the things going on around the world that you might not otherwise think about.
Great storytelling. Well done. Even loving the title.
What a great podcast. The host is very relatable and knowledgeable about the topics he is discussing. He keeps you engaged throughout the show. Stop on by and listen to Assorted Goods.
This is such a great podcast for those who want to keep up with some current topics but don't understand a lot of the in depth stuff, aka dummies, like me. Dan makes it super interesting to listen to and comprehendable. Not to mention he seems like someone you'd want to hang out with. Highly recommended!
Sound quality was great, dude put in some work to make sure the show was entertaining. Thanks for the PodUcation. Ready for another.
This podcast brings the details and will keep your interest piqued!
I enjoy listening to podcasts that can teach me something, but at the same time, doesn't take itself too seriously. Dan does this well, and as a solo host, that can be a heavy lift. Keep up the good work, Dan!
Love this podcast! Always insightful and makes me think.
The host does a mighty fine job of delivering content in a way that is informative, engaging, and more often than not... FUN and FUNNY. Just don't ask him to sell himself groceries. Love this show, and it ONLY GETS BETTER.
Host Dan Felton does extensive research on various topics and presents his research in an educational and humorous way. His ability to tackle heavy and light topics and his conversational style feels like he’s sharing information rather than lecturing. Listen, download and subscribe to this excellent Podcast.
A fun exploration of world events. Quality episodes, and engaging host. This should be on your subscribe list.
Dan is attempting to understand the world and now, with how well he picks topics apart, I know I understand the world too! I would recommend this podcast if you like to learn in a laid back style.
Dan has become one of my favorite pod-casters in this huge podcasting world. Dan doesn't just gives heavily researched, informative topics that are happening in our past, present and even near future but he's also not afraid of telling you his view on things in a creative story telling format. Pick any show and you will leave knowing something new for that day. Dan, keep it up and thank you for the hard work, time and content you keep bring us.
The best part of this show is that the host is not just teaching or explaining topics, but he seems like he's learning too and truly enjoying it.The energy comes through the audio and I look forward to the episodes
Here’s what’s fantastic about Assorted Goods: it’s always attempting something new. Host Dan Felton is going to say that this is a bi-weekly news podcast- but to me, what he is doing is what all the great segments on NPR “infotainment” shows do- he hears a story, ask and interesting/pointed question about it, and then goes off to the races to find where that question leads him. True to his word, he is an amateur…but that gives his perspective a fresh and unique feel, while not diminishing the research he does for the topics covered. One would think a meandering podcast on random topics would be hard to maintain, both due to quality and interest, but Dan manages to navigate the transition of topics from episode to episode, keeping the same level of enthusiasm and quality, while bringing his own unique humor and cheer to the fore. Assorted Goods is a must listen, give it a spin.
This podcast has really interesting content that makes you think. I just listened to the "Hooked" episode and I am definitely thinking about how much I use my phone. Dan does an impressive amount of research and doesn't just spout off bullshit . . . not that I mind a little bullshit. 🙂Anyway, this is a good one. Give it a listen.
Hosting a podcast solo is no easy task, nor is dealing with some of the bigger issues we are dealing with. Dan somehow excels in both areas! This podcast is a great listen and you can easily find yourself three episodes in and wonder where the time went?Download it now!
