Fishing The Powlett River Estuary, five minutes from the township of Kilcunda, is often blocked to the sea. Causing it to form a wide, shallow lake.I've been fishing in this area for decades.  It's a great spot.  The Powlett is always fishable.
Sweeneys Flats Eltham is well known to locals. With its bushland setting sitting on the Yarra River it offers a number of freshwater habitats for fishing.It’s only around 40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.Including faster-flowing rapids. Larger
