Episode 26: The 12 Secrets of Wealth and Abundance

What truly constitutes riches?

For many people, the first thing that comes to mind is financial security and abundance.  We want material things like cars, houses, or clothing, but in reality we’re seeking a feeling.  We’re seeking the feeling that obtaining these material items gives us.  What do these items or experiences give us emotionally?  Perhaps a feeling of importance, prestige, joy, or happiness.

In actuality, we don’t need material things to give us the emotions we seek.  Napoleon Hill wrote an incredible book entitled, Think and Grow Rich.  In it, he details 12 things that constitute riches.  They are as follows:

1. Positive mental attitude
2. Sound physical health
3. Harmony in all human relations
4. Freedom of fear
5. Hope of future achievement
6. Capacity for applied faith
7. Willingness to share one’s blessings with others
8. To be engaged in the labor of love
9. An open mind on all subjects towards all people
10. Complete self-discipline
11. Wisdom with which to understand people
12. Financial security

As you can see, financial security is the last item on the list.  Of course it has an importance, but the riches you will reap from adopting the other items in your life are exponentially greater.

Remember that you are a vibrational being.  You will get back what you are sending out into the world.  The secret is to operate from a space of gratitude and appreciation.  Focus on what you have, not what you lack.

Find the blessings in your life and give thanks for those blessings.  Because you can live each day and take advantage of the opportunities before you, you are truly wealthy.
