In this episode I look at an implementation of "infrastructure as code". There is an open source code project where they forked the WordPress code so work with SQL server as the backend database. It is called ProjectNami and what really is interesting is their one touch deploy button. The magic is in a json file that describes the install into Microsoft Azure. This type of infrastructure as code is currently in Hyper-scale cloud datacenters today but will be coming to on prem datacenters soon. I believe, in some form or another, this concept of "Infrastructure as code" is the future of network and server infrastructure. Take a look and see what you think.
