In this episode, BD introduces Captain Jack. Captain Jack is an humble and experienced mariner from a small Mexi-Cali border town who cut his teeth in the brine in the Bering Sea. At age 17 he and a friend struck out to learn the trade of the seafarers off the coast of Alaska.
He enjoys a minimalist lifestyle with the Sea being his favored environment. Having worked offshore on Alaskan fishing vessels, private yachts, and National Geographic Photography charters, he lives a mantra of being at peace with what you have, not needing too much, finding beauty in sailing, and never quitting.
After living the good life at sea he is dabbling in some well- deserved port time at a new local bow to stern Yacht Management and Education Company, San Diego Offshore.
Tune in now and get to know Capt. Jack and pick up some helpful wisdom along the way!
