Mindfulness, it isn’t just for hippies! Seriously, I am a big fan of meditation and the benefits that it can bring to your life overall. For photographers, creativity is key, and mindfulness can help with your creativity. There are four stages to creativity – Preparation, Incubation, Illumination, and Verification. Mindfulness will help the incubation stage the most, and will allow your subconscious mind to develop ideas you didn’t even know you had.

Relax Oriental – A Freemium app that is perfect for meditating on your own. A huge selection of music and sounds to meditate to. Has a built in timer that you can set which makes the app my go to for unguided meditation
Insight Timer – An awesome free meditation app. Has a community and a massive selection of guided meditations. You can save meditations to use over and over again. Sometimes it’s hit and miss with being able to find something good, but when you find something good quickly it’s awesome.
The Honest Guys – A great YouTube channel with hundreds of videos with guided meditations.
