The beefiest podcast out there! Love the music, fictional ads and guests like Levi. The dry humour might get lost on some people but if you enjoy deadpan, this is the show for you.
Hilarious! This is tongue-in-cheek absurdism, presented as a totally serious podcast for the beef industry.  When I started listening, I thought it would be difficult for the creators to extend the concept over more than one or two episodes, but I'm eight episodes in and it's just as funny.
This is one of the great comedy podcasts, proves that less is more with its short monthly episodes. This will make you wish more podcasts were scripted.
Never judge a podcast by its title! This is an incredibly dry absurd comedy podcast that is in the same elite league as Chris Morris' The Day Today. There are some amazing special guests and the characters that are created and brought to life in this show are fantastic. Eli Roberts is an enimga!
Amazingly funny, dry British absurdist humor. Made me think a lot of some of Monty Python (Dinsdale Brothers for instance)
This continues to stretch and push at the boundaries of what you may expect from an audio drama podcast. The sound design is amazing and well under appreciated. The comedy is sly and subversive. I'm amazed at how much comedy gold has been mined from the premise. Genius stuff.
This podcast has built up a solid fictional world, with recurring characters and a glimpse of something darker and seedier beneath the surface. I'm still not quite sure how much is scripted and where there is room for improvisation, but the performers all seem to buy into the world. I think, if you listened to too much of it at once you'd give yourself fizzy beef nightmares, but that said, if I thought it would be feasible to produce it more regularly, I'd love a fortnightly show.
Odd yet brilliantly dry humor. I had NO idea what I was getting into when I first started listening, but I got instantly hooked. Cannot recommend this weirdness enough!
One of the most flat-out weird podcasts out there, building its own strange mythology (think Hookland) one deranged episode at a time. Both laugh-out-laugh funny and somewhat gross, if you're a fan of weird British humour, this is for you.
I love the format and the dryness of the delivery. An absolutely magnificent podcast.
A hilarious podcast made all the funnier by being played completely straight. The writing and voicework is incredible, and even the ads within the show are exciting.
This podcast was so fun, but I needed a story arc to care enough to keep listening.
Speaking as a vegan, I can say that I merely have an academic interest in the production of beef and dairy, and the potential discovery of a f*fth m**t.
A brilliant, absurdist spoof of niche industry podcasting that's expanded to create a whole alternate world where the British economy and identity is bound up in beef, lamb is a dangerously addictive New Zealand import, and a conspiracy surrounds the mythical "fifth meat" are enough to get you killed... Brilliantly written and performed by Benjamin and his guest cast. Took me a while to investigate, but has now become one of my all-time favourite narrative comedy podcasts as I make my way through the back catalogue (I'm only a couple of years behind now).
Can a podcast really have so many episodes about beef and dairy and remain interesting and more importantly funny? YES! The absolute commitment to the premise goes to the point of absurd genius or unbridled insanity depending on if you like a rich beef sausage or a bit of lamb.
congratulations bonjamin, here's to a hundred more
