The Devil is a liar, a SCHEMER, he is EVIL, he is a predator, he wants to destroy you, and he will masquerade as Jesus during the upcoming Great Tribulation. In today’s study we examine a few of the TACTICS identified in the Bible that the Devil will use to try and overcome and defeat everyone on earth. We are given this admonishment in 2 Corinthians 2:11 “that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.”

This study is Part 2 of 3 parts focusing on the character of the Devil and how he operates. The FIRST part covers Satan’s time in heaven and shows how his pride was his downfall. I believe that God reasoned with Lucifer for many years (the length of time is unknown but could have been 6,000 years). God finally had to cast the Devil and his evil angels out of heaven and into the earth where he tricked Adam and Eve into disobeying God. Lucifer then claimed earth as his domain. Lucifer became the Prince of Earth until Jesus displaced him on Resurrection Sunday when Jesus became the Prince of the Earth.

In PART 3 of our study of Lucifer’s evil tactics we will focus on how he will operate during the upcoming Great Tribulation. The Bible warns us “But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” Revelation 12:12. His time is very short during the 1,335 days of the Great Tribulation so that’s when he will show up, in person, impersonating Jesus.
