After many years of difficulty understanding my own identity and cultural fit, I was recently introduced to more modern interpretations of Satanism and in particular TST. Despite being a lifelong weirdo of many flavours (queer, furry, goth, baphomet-appreciator, etc.) I was put off Satanism as I only found out about it though in its more Laveyan form through friends. Black Mass Appeal, however, introduced me with verve and gusto to an ideology, a community and a sense of kinship that struck a deeper chord and implied a greater emotional maturity. As someone in the process of moving from the UK to the USA (of my own volition), with things as they are just now I was struggling to find elements of hopefulness. The enthusiasm, playfulness and informative sincerity of the hosts and guests of Black Mass Appeal have provided that in spades along with igniting anticipation in me to become part of local Satanic communities in my new home stateside. Furthermore - In the dedication to detail, the joy found in the academic sides of topics discussed, the tangents followed and rabbit holes decended, there are hours of entertainment and intrigue. In listening to Black Mass Appeal I have found a group that I genuinely feel are *my people* and that I can deeply relate to and respect. I would wholeheartedly reccomend this podcast to anyone with even a passing interest in things Satanic, be that interest ideological, aesthetic or just for funsies. I will be patreon-ising them forthwith. HAIL SATAN. HAIL Y'ALL.
