Today, on the fourth episode of Bois & Bar Talk Season 4, we are drinking I Love Lamp by Evil Genius Brewing Company out of Philadelphia, PA. We continued our journey to find different style beers, and this one was pretty unique.

I Love Lamp is a german style hefeweizen. It had a very yellowish color and we poured it into a glass. Very foamy right from the first pour. Even Kev’s professional pouring still managed to get half foam, half beer in the glass! Bright white head and has a banana aroma.

Overall, it was kind of refreshing on the first sip. I Love Lamp is a wheat ale and has an ABV of 5.5%. Mostly you could find I Love Lamp available in the summer. The taste has banana with a twist of pineapple. We rated this one a little later in the episode so we got some extra tasting before making a decision. Even though the first sip was impressive, it did dwindle a little bit as we went on. Not too bad however, and we thought it was an alright beer to have!
