Unfollowed after narrative is turning against anyone who has an opinion that is not trendy. A podcast that promote canceling other people and censorship is disgrace for all Book lovers. Reading books are joyful experiences that enhances thoughtfulness and promote intellectual thinking, but the act of promoting a behavior that deny another person right to form an idea/opinion is creatively and intellectually damaging. We shouldn’t conform to certain boxes, because through books we are allowed to fly and given the opportunity to express our views. Some might not agree with my views and that Is acceptable, but denying me the right to have this thought is despicable.

i listened to this show for so long, i started my podcasts journey with it, it kept me company so many times, but then it slowly became political, every episode seemed to promote the hosts politics more than to talk about books, i tolerated that and kept listening, until i wasn't listening anymore, i didn't decide to stop following the show anymore, it just happened, the show became so uninteresting and so politically charged that it's unbearable, you ruined a perfect podcast.

Fantastic show, full of useful and entertaining info for book lovers!

Has a fairly obvious political bent rather than just focusing on books, but the book insights are the magic here, as well as the excellent chemistry between the hosts.

While the hosts mainly discuss things that are going on in the book world, they also have a ton of special features like book recommendations for special times of the year (like holidays or graduation season), best of lists, buy/sell/hold features, specific book discussions for just one title per episode, adaptation discussions, and much more!I really enjoy this podcast because it helps me to stay on top of bookish news. I really appreciate that the hosts break down the news stories and fully talk them through to both explain what exactly the story means and what their personal thoughts about it are. And of course, as an analytics person, I really appreciate that they discuss and break down statistics every now and again.If you would like to stay updated on the latest news in the bookish world as a whole, I highly recommend checking this one out!
