As a member of the First Nation People of Heiltsuk in Canada, Don Wilson has a very deep connection to ancestral life. He is a direct descendent of Hunter-Gatherers. He also witnessed the demise of health of his ancestral people after the introduction of processed foods.
He is also a practicing obstetrician and balances life between city living with his four children, two of which are adopted from Haiti, and the farm on which he raises animals.
