This episode I’m talking to the founders of co-living startup Base, Al Jeffrey who’s 21, and Simon Harman who’s only 19 years.
These two are in the process of acquiring a space in Melbourne that 16 carefully selected young people who are entrepreneurially minded and want to change the world for the better will inhabit, help build and pay to live in.
While it may sound like a share house, the boys insist it’s something more. So, in this interview you’ll hear me try to weed through the buzzwords and get to the nuts and bolts of how Base works, why it needs to exist, and most importantly, how it can distinguish itself from just being another entrepreneurial wank job.
