I had the honor of talking to one of my Marines today, Matt Amos. He's a Marine Veteran who was wounded twice by an IED, the first when we were deployed on our second tour to Iraq with 1st Battalion 7th Marines and the last in Afghanistan with 1st Battalion 5th Marines. Matt is also an entrepreneur starting his own beard oil company called Admiral's Pennant and a podcaster on the Hardheaded Podcast. On this episode, we go over his service and how he was able to overcome those difficult moments, having a POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE, learning to not have pride get in the way of progress, and his favorite quote he remembered from one of his Marines, "Don't talk about it, be about it."
