The podcast book has me in full-on "promo mode" right now and I'm doing a lot of interviews on other people's podcasts. One of the things that recently happened was a technical issue with my equipment that I remedied by switching from my studio to my office. Not a big deal, except my office isn't soundproof – and I'm next to a fire station! Obviously, it sucks to be doing an interview on somebody else's podcast and have a firetruck go by with sirens blaring. Or does it? The answer is, it sucks sometimes. Other times, it can actually be helpful. I talk about this and more on this episode.
