Episode 6 of Season 1 has dropped! What would you do for your daughter's 13th birthday party? Would you try to give her everything you wanted? What if it was something you couldn't give up? We explore the Belcher's trying to give Tina the best "becoming a woman" party, and see more of the seedy side of the places around Wonder Warf.
Episode 5 has been released! As a family growing up, I attended the theater every couple of years. There was always a dinner theater near by, so we would frequent that as a field trip when I was in school. Now that I'm older, I thoroughly enjoy both of these things. This episode was right up my wheelhouse of interests! Hamburger Dinner Theater, the fifth episode of season 1, tells the story of Linda's dream to turn the restaurant into a Dinner Theater, if only temporarily. It becomes a family affair no one would forget. Follow us on twitter @burgersfriespod
Jairo says that everyone should listen to this episode. On this review, we learn about what the heck Capoeira is, what Tina really enjoys about it, and how many meetings Bob has in a day. Never a dull moment during Bob's burgers.
Episode 9! Was there ever a TV show or movie that you and your parents watched before bed time? For me, it was Star Trek The Next Generation. For Gene and Bob, it appears that they both enjoy old Spaghetti Westerns about Banjo. We watch this episode of Bob's Burgers and reminisce about old times, and have a lot of fun with this classic. Does it crack the top 5 of our favorite episodes?
Episode 8 is here! Living in a bigger city, we get our fair amount of art shows to go to. While I haven't ever bought any from the street fairs like the one seen in this episode, I do often go through and admire everyone's work. If I ever saw Gail's work in an window though, I might not go back there. Wondering what I'm talking about? watch the episode, then come back and listen to us review Episode 8 of Season 1.
Episode 7! have you ever been to a bed & breakfast before? staying overnight at someone's house/converted inn? Linda's idea for a B&B might not be as traditional as the ones you find today, but she's determined as heck to make it the best Bed & Breakfast in the Warf. Teddy gets so jealous he decides to join in on the fun as well! Our first Teddy-heavy episode makes Ryan happy, but how does it fare overall?
Moovin' On up to Episode 3! In this episode, Bob prepares for his 100,000th burger sold, but gets derailed by a director making a documentary about the horrors of the meat industry. The ending might surprise you. follow us on twitter @burgersfriespod Thank you for listening!
On this episode, the discussion continues! Episode 2 is upon us, and we look at what can happen when your in-laws come to town. Bob, Linda, and the kids welcome Gloria and Al, Linda's parents, for a visit. Shenanigans occur and we get a pretty solid episode. Enjoy! Find us on Twitter @burgersfriespod.
There's a new podcast in town, and it's reviewing every episode of a TV show! Join Bryan & Ryan, current hosts of "The State Of" podcast as they take a journey through the history of one of TVs best animated comedies today: Bob's Burgers - argueably Fox's greatest hit since Futurama. Today's episode is based on the first episode to air on Fox: Human Flesh. Watch the episode on Hulu and join in the disussion, or just listen to the conversation unfold as they watch and review the start of something new. Get a hold of us @burgersfriespod on twitter! In this very special episode, we get a sweet Bob and Tina moment. Did you ever share a secret with a parent that you weren't supposed to tell the other? Bob and Tina have one of those, and hilarity ensues when she accidentally hits a car when driving. Then they need to deal with a not-so savory insurance claims adjudicator. It all happens, in Tina-Rannosaurus Wrecks!
Teddy takes front stage in this episode! Mr. Fischoeder, looking to get new attractions at the warf, purchases a mechanical shark from a movie that was filmed there years ago, much to Teddy's disagreeance. Lots of laughs, lots of homage, could this be our highest rated episode yet?! find out!
The first Thanksgiving Episode! One of Ryan's favorites, this episode is all about Mr. Fischoeder borrowing Bob's family to try and seduce an old love of his. Bob gets intoxicated (again) and we get a great stand off in the end of the episode. This sets the bar high for future thanksgiving episodes, so let's get to it!
Vacation time for the Belchers! Ryan's been on two cruises in his life, and he's never wanted to be on a cruise less than after watching this episode. He is right with Bob on this episode, where we see the Belchers being "Shanghai'd" on a cruise ship with a chef who has lost his will to live, a ventriloquist who's out to try and con Gene, and a captain with a capybara as a pet. As always, shenanigans ensue.
Did you ever work a summer job? How about a summer job with your parents? Bob tries to give the kids the summer he never had by firing them, Mickey returns, and blueberries become the new hot commodity! Come listen in to the latest episode of Burgers and Fries!
Trick or Treat! It's the first ever holiday episode for Bob's Burgers, and it starts it off right. The kids go Trick or Treatin' by themselves for the first time, and Teddy throws a halloween party! what more could you want!   We apologize in advance for the audio, we were snowed in when recording so we each had to do our mobile setups, but we never fail our fans!   Next week, we are back in the home office.
Season 3 Premiere! We get our first full season kicked off with a bit of Biker gang action! Louise also goes through some personal changes of her own. New Characters unfold, new plots thicken, but one thing's for sure, this season will be long and excellent!
The shortened, but much loved season 2 of Bob's Burgers, has come to an end. We're sad to see this gem of a very mini season come to an end, but we look back fondly at the 9 episode run, remember the good and not-so-good, and anticipate what season 3 will bring us (not least of which is a full 23 episode season!) Come walk down memory lane with us!
Seaon 2 finale! The 9 episode second season comes to an end today! Beefsquatch sends us home with great Gene and Bob antics, and the introduction of some new characters as well. Is this the finale we've been waiting for? Does this show get a third season? The answer to both of those will be revealed.... no. Yes and yes. But tune in to some hilarious antics as Bob goes on a cooking show, and Gene steals the spotlight.
New kid in town! everyone's favorite girl to hate, Tammy, joins the cast, and we see a transition in Tina's personality. We also get to see Bob become so enamored by an activity it overtakes his life (much like burgerboss), and Gene and Louise do the Brady Bunch blackmail scheme! Sit back, watch, then enjoy our podcast!
Name the best job in the world. Go ahead, I'll wait... If you didn't say Food Critic, then you're wrong. who doesn't want to get paid to eat food and tell people how good and bad it is? But what if your reviews swayed everyone into making your business thrive, or shuttering it forever? That's the hard truth that we deal with in this episode. Will Bob's get shut down, or will he have a new lease on life? Is Tin Cup a good movie? Find out in the latest episode of Burgers and Fries: Your Weekly Bob's Burgers companion podcast!
Tina's obsessions with Dr. Yap comes out in this episode! (Not really). The family takes a trip to Dr. Yap's time share, Gayle wants to have a trist with Bob, and the Gene/Louise fight over a jawbreaker. It's the first physical appearence of Dr. Yap, and Ken Jeong doesn't disappoint.
Food trucks are definitely a thing here in Wisconsin. In the spring-autumn seasons, we have our fair share of festivals, but none sound as cool as Lolla-Pa-Foods-A. Bob tries his hand at the "Trend of the future" in food trucks, with some fun stuff to go with it.
As a 90s kid, I always enjoyed going to the arcade and playing a specific game. For me, it was the X-Men game, and NFL Blitz. For Bob, that was Burgerboss! When he realizes he isn't as good as he thought, it's up to him to retain the leaderboard from Jimmy Pesto.   Also, there's a part with Sailing lessons, and Porcelain babies, you won't want to miss this episode of Burgers and Fries!
One of the most watched sports in Olymipc history (if Linda and Mr. Frond were the ones in the survey), Synchronized Swimming gives both of them ulimited joy. P.E. class for the kids, however, does NOT give them the same pleasure. The kids trick mr. frond into giving them independent study for gym class, and as always, hilarity ensues. Also, Bob gets an ice cream machine in hopes of making more money for the family. Will his plan work?
The Second Episode of Season 2 does NOT have the sophamore slump! In this episode, we get the introduction of TWO new characters we will see again in future episodes, and we peer into what Gene sees in his future. Also, Louise forgets to turn in her homework, surprise surprise! Please listen and enjoy!
