Marsha Everlyn (Tanya Fear), top advisor to Joan Harrison (Jenny Agutter), the leader of His Majesty's Official Opposition is currently living in exile with the rest of her party on the shores of Europe State. With more and more English political refugees arriving off the ferry every day, and with the arrival in Calais of Felix Harrison (Harry Lloyd), Joan Harrison's demagogic son, both Marsha and the party at large find themselves caught between country and conscience in a high stakes game of love, loyalty, espionage and betrayal.
