These guys are amazing. The way they discuss comics clearly shows how passionate they feel towards both comics and mental illness destigmatization. Each episode is covered differently, even despite any character similarities. They never fail to release a great episode.

Found this show at the beginning of the pandemic. It quickly became my Wednesday morning ritual. Not only is this podcast entertaining and comics focused. It is also a fun opportunity for introspective moments. Anthony & Doc Issues put in so much time and dedication into this podcast and it shows with every episode. 100/10 would recommend.

Such a great listen, stacking layers on the foundations of characters I THOUGHT I knew like the back of my hand.

Capes on the Couch has literally gotten me through the trails of the last year. It's be rough all around but I know I can get a weekly dose of comics, voices, sass and puns and I look forward to it every week. There have been some truly moving conversations and I, for one, appreciate it. Keep it up, love you guys!

I just started listening, but I am hooked. Completely blown away. Such a great podcast that portrays mental health in a revolutionary way. The exploration and deep dive in comic book characters is fantastic. The conversations between these to gentlemen is refreshing, honest, and genuine. Keep up the great work! Also I really enjoy the skits.

CAPES ON THE COUCH is one of my favorite podcasts for the unique perspective and insight they bring to the superhero genre. I haven't heard another podcast go so deep into the psychological arguments around these characters. One of the most informative and entertaining podcasts around.Did I mention there are skits as well?

A really interesting listen. I don't think I've come across this approach to comics before, & I have to say it's pretty cool to think about all these super familiar characters from an angle no one is coming at them from, while also normalising talks around mental health. Gotta love a multifaceted podcast!

As someone with a big interest in psychology and mental health along with superheroes it’s awesome to see these 2 things combined into great conversations! Again another great idea for a pod! Also what a name!

Mad at myself for sleeping on such a unique and engaging podcast, but after binging and catching up in just under 3 months I have two things to say:1) This podcast is amazing. Just because the characters are fictional doesn't mean the issues they have are and it always surprises me when I get emotionally invested in an episode and have to remind myself that I'm in public. 2) I'm now sad that I have to wait weekly for new episodes when I was knocking out a couple a day while working.Listener for life. (Anthony, hopefully you are still playing MCOC)

Can’t overstate how unique and well researched this show is. There are a lot of comic book podcasts out there but none like this!

Love the mixture of Comics and mental health. Makes a very serious topic that much more accessible, and having Doc use his real world experience is just the icing on the cake. Can't recommend this podcast to my friends enough.

Was -not- expecting such a serious in-depth conversation about cloning in comics. This show definitely stands out from the crowd thanks to its sober approach to superhero stories and their elements - without ever getting didactic or losing sight of how fun comic books are!Big fan of this concept. Reminds me of a panel I saw at SDCC once, applying real world psychology to fictional fantastical situations. Definitely worth checking out!

Well worth listening for the entertainment value of comic book superheroes, but highly informative when it comes to mental health. Anthony and Doc Issues are on too of their game here....analyses and skits make for a perfect mix!
