I was really curious how they were going to adapt a very visual phenomenon like catfishing into a podcast, but nope, they adapted the show audio. Which, I get it, someone might genuinely want/need. But the packaging makes it seem like someone just wanted to get a proverbial flag in without the effort.

This could be a good podcast, but it's essentially the audio from the TV show, meaning that a lot of the context is lost. With some narrative and descriptions recorded to fill in the background, this would probably work really well, but as it is I felt I wasn't really getting the full story.

As someone that hasn't watched the show from the beginning this has been a great way to catch up on the show. Yes, it is just the show audio with descriptions added to give you the visual of what's going on.
