Reda Stare is the daring founder and CEO of PlateCulture, a website that connects people who love cooking & hosting dinners with people who love eating authentic home cooked meals. Each dinner is a unique experience where people can share food, discover new cultures and build friendships from all over the world.
In this interview, Reda shares her story of how one impromptu around-the-world trip inspired the seed of an idea that, today, operates in 25 countries across Southeast Asia. PlateCulture is completely changing the way people dine outside of their homes. She also shares details of the steps she took to get Plate Culture up and running and what it’s like to be a woman and a startup founder (hint – it’s not easy).
You might not want to listen to this episode on an empty stomach or you’ll be starving for some delicious home-cooked food by the end!
