Matthew serves as the US Director of Church Mobilization for World Relief. In that role, he helps evangelical churches to understand the realities of refugees and immigration and to respond in ways guided by biblical values. He and our friend Jenny Yang have co-authored the book Welcoming the Stranger and Matthew is also the author of Seeking Refuge: On the Shores of the Global Refugee Crisis
Jason Clarke is the co-founder of Seek the Peace, an organization he started with his wife Tess in the city of Dallas. It was created to meet the needs of refugees being resettled to Dallas, including researching and designing programs that would take a peace-building approach with resettled refugees. Their advocacy includes a focus on refugee peace and security policy at the local, state, national and United Nations levels.
