This week we tackle another #lifehack for living — mastering meal time.
I’ve got to eat.
You’ve got to eat.
All God’s chillun’ need to eat.
Food is a fact of life but many face making meals with a little bit of trepidation, frustration, or overwhelm. We are supposed to eat every stinkin’ day three to six times a day. That’s a lot!
So what can we do to make the preparation of our meals a little easier, simpler, faster, and “gooder”. I don’t know anyone who cares nothing about the food that we eat. We may not all like everything or the same things but everyone I know likes something. But in order to nourish our bodies for this life we have to live, we must learn to master the making of these meals first.
On today’s podcast, I’m joined by two long term friends who I’ve admired for their commitment to the kitchen. They both are busy but make time to ensure that they feed their people well. During a free flowing conversation between friends, we come up with a solid ten ways that you can master your own meal time.
And you know what? You and I should master our meal time. We’ve got to eat everyday so we might as well make it easier, make it simpler, and make it “gooder“.
S. Truett Cathy of Chick Fil A is quoted as saying, “Food is essential to life, therefore make it good.” (Click to tweet). Well I agree. So on today’s podcast, I share both principles and practical tips for mastering your meal times so that you can have less stress in the kitchen while keeping good food rolling out of the kitchen as you cook. Cook for yourself? Cook for a spouse? Cook for a houseful of people? No matter. We all have to eat. This show is for you.
