Back in 2005 I found myself in a rut. I had accomplished most of what I wanted at the time. I earned my Ph.D. in clinical psychology and I had a secure government job with a pension and healthcare. I had a new home and two cars. From the outside looking in, I had it all. However, I was miserable. I was unhappy and I felt hopeless that the rest of my life would be a bore. But, a trip to Costa Rica changed my life.
As a result, I quit my secure job, sold my house and cars and gave away most of my possessions. I boarded a plane to Costa Rica with only two suitcases and I felt FREE. It was amazing! It was scary! But, I took a chance to live and never look back with regret.
You too have that freedom to Find Your Costa Rica. You have the freedom and capability to create your life on your own terms. It is a miracle that you were born. You are lucky! Life is wonderful and you can create a personal and professional life that you always wanted.
Take a few moments to write down everything you would love to do personally and professionally. Then, decide on just one personal aspiration and one professional goal. Take steps to reach it.
