Brandon Shintani is a high school sophomore from New Jersey, U.S.A., who created his own Web site and podcast called "Mind-Design Sports." What sets his content apart from other sports psychology resources is the fact that it's produced by teens for teens and kids. In this episode, we talk about why he became interested in sports psychology, different resources that he recommends, and we reveal a couple of our favourite present-day athletes. #AsianHeritageMonth

Some of the topics we discuss include:
* What led Brandon to his interest in sports psychology? (4:01)
* What he learned from the Navy SEALs that he uses in his own life (6:41)
* Why is it important for teens to produce this content? (12:43)
* What can adult coaches be aware of when coaching "Gen Z" athletes? (19:27)
* "Anything you do is a good first step" (22:23)
* Brandon's favourite sports psychology resources (24:06)
* Two "underdog" athletes that Brandon and I admire (25:38)
* What an e-mailer from Mexico suggested as a possible podcast episode topic (and how it relates to curling!) (28:18)
