I have enjoyed this from the start. I can sense all the hard work put in to produce it. My favourite scene involved a Murphy bathroom in an apartment. I recommend it to anyone into serialized podcasts.
There's an earnest and passion that I felt from the very first episode of this show. It's a love letter to all fans of classic American cinema so if your heroes are Orson Welles, Howard Hawks, and Billy Wilder than this show is most likely for you. It's also nice because you can really hear the show develop as it goes on. I'm particularly a big fan of the voice acting as each character seemingly conjures such a powerful image in my imagination. And most of all, the relationship between Johnny Taco and Arthur Blank is enduring and real... which is particularly impressive since Johnny Taco is a dinosaur.
Listen to it on my way to school, makes a boring walk interesting, and it came just at the right time in my life (which is when my school stopped the busses.)
Engaging, smart humor, just enough self-awareness, and overall a well-paced, good ride.
