It feels like the narrator blames Josh Powell's behavior on the fact that he left the Mormon church and that Powell's father left the church as well.There is no discussion of the negative aspects of the Mormon church that affected Susan Powell and her ability to leave her abuser.I hate true-crime that are more about the criminals than the victims.

I've only listened to season 1. I really enjoyed it, but it needed some editing. I think it could have been a few episodes shorter. Some episodes spent too much time repeating previous information, which was great for people joining mid series, but dull for people listening from the beginning.

Narration was excellent and although I watched a lot of the Dateline and ID Discovery specials on this case, this podcast did actually reveal new information. Very interesting and easy to binge!

This is the true crime best podcast I’ve listened to. I was absolutely riveted by the storytelling. And he gives a voice to Susan and was.

Arguably the best deep dive true crime podcast out there. This podcast takes a case that has been covered at the surface level by countless other podcasts, tv shows, and shot documentaries, and it expands on it in a way that never feels redundant, tedious, or gratuitous. Outstanding organization, superb production quality, and not one moment is spent making distasteful jokes about a horrific crime. I can't recommend this one enough.

Excellent true crime podcast. I teared up listening to the podcast on Josh, Susan and their children. So dark .

Well researched and thoroughly compiled true crime put together and published with great quality. Genuinely felt pulled into the trauma and horror of the story arc and rode each valley or peak like someone much closer to the action.

Cold is very different from other true crime podcasts because, rather than the storyline trying to discover the killer, you're told who the killer is in episode 1. The podcast instead tells you the story of authorities trying to nail the man that they and everyone else in town knew was the killer, and repeatedly coming up short. It's a gripping narrative, told in a perfectly eerie manner.

By far the best true crime podcast

Compelling, interesting true crime told in an easy to follow manner. Sometimes host can lean toward dramatic. No pay off in the end, but also not left hanging.

I thought I knew all there was to know about the Susan Powell case. I was wrong! This podcast delved deep into everything and everybody involved, that led to Susan’s disappearance.

One of the best podcasts I've ever listened too. (S1)
