At 44, Lain Ehmann found herself unexpectedly pregnant.

While the pregnancy was unplanned, it was still a blessing. Due to her advanced maternal age,  Lain settled into a new routine that was designed to protect the pregnancy and required her to nearly shut down her business, her parenting and her day-to-day routine. Lain was already the mother to three very active children ranging in ages from 7 to 15. As the owner of an on-line empire in the scrap booking world, Lain tried to manage her business which was a vital part of her families income and prepare herself and her family for the new baby.

Despite the precautions, Lain suffered the devastating loss of a miscarriage mid-term. While she did mourn, she also knew that this didn't have to define her life.

In this powerful episode Lain shares what she states "Many women can relate to." That losing a child is full of highs and lows and the loss pulls the rug out from under you. AND that many more women face this than we realize because it isn't something they go around talking about.
