3 episides in, I expected it to be boring because the premise sounded like it's just interviewing people about their lives, and, well, you don't really need ghosts for that. But I really love ghost stories, and with ghosts who aren't presented as some evil things especially, so I decided to give it a try.
And I'm so glad I did! The podcast clearly has a soul to it, it gripped me right away. I love how different the stories and the views are, how Mal is being reminded he doesn't know everything, and it's interesting. It creates some intrigue and gives more character both to the ghosts and Mal himself.
Also I think I hear a lot of queer voices? As an enby myself, it's so nice. Audio dramas truly are the richest field in this regard. Speaking of which, I really liked Mal's approach to the faded spirit.
(Although the Maid is my favorite one so far.)
Can't wait to hear more!
