CaSB 031: Podcast Movement 2016 Part I
I’m back on the mic after being away for a few weeks.  Sorry about the absence. It was unplanned, it just became kind  of a natural break to look back at what I’ve accomplished in the show.  I’ve been analyzing the content I want to bring.  I need to be sharing more of myself.   Everything that happens to you in life is a story. So I want to share the experiences in my life to help you maybe avoid some mistake I’ve done at the same time to show you what has helped me.  My record is of straight show is lost but not my commitment is not. Today I want to share about my experience attending PM2016. Conferences are expensive, it’s an investment $400 registration, $400 hotel, $ airfare. Nice chunk of change. But you have people flying in from all over the world, Europe, Australia. So it’s important Chicago was beautiful. A friend had told me about it. And now I get it. I didn’t realize how big it was.  It has the Most skyscrapers after NY, the big apple. NY 241, Chicago 116. 150m , 35-40 floors. Trump tower, that GUY who’s running for president Travel experience Left Philly International, THe city of Brotherly love and took the 1.5hr fligh Traveled to the Windy City on lake Michigan.  And arrived at O’Hare Int Airport. You know O’Hare is the 4th busiest airport in the world. When you’re at the gate, Check the flight number on the screen The conference was at the Hyatt Regency, 4 blocks from the ake. I didn’t get to see the lake. Celebrities I met Pat Flynn JLD Dan Miller Aaron Walker Cliff Ravenscraft Andrew Warner, MixerG Podcast guests I met in person Matt Miller, Spirit School vending. Yann Ilunga, podcast strategist from podcast success summit People at the conference were so nice. Podcasters are nice people I was introduced to a lot of new podcasts.  Came back re-invigorated to explore and listen to these shows.  I’ve been too focused just on business.  Just listen to a show for fun. Interesting booths Audible Ringr, records conversations on both sides then you download audio Farcast, a hosting site where you put your podcast and don’t have to put adds. You’ll get paid based on listeners Aweber Wondery, hosting site Samson. Lavalier clip Mic. I can record while at the Park, or a lunch time walk.
