Ali Plumb is BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra's film critic, where he is the face of the station's film content, most notably the 'Movies That Made Me' strand in which award-winning actors analyse their greatest roles to date.

Following successful stints at Empire Magazine and Digital Spy, Ali landed a gig at the BBC in 2016, where in his day-to-day he can be found chatting to the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone.

Ali took a break from interviewing Hollywood's megastars to chat about his career so far, the importance of press junkets and the movies that made him.
