Award-winning author Joseph Badal joins us in this episode of CrimeFiction.FM to discuss his new book, the fifth in his Danforth Saga thriller series, DEATH SHIP.

Joe shares the history of the Danforth family and how they’ve evolved through the first four books in the series.

The Danforth Saga books are chronologically correct and the series characters age as the series progresses through the years. The first book in the series took place in the late 1970s featuring a young Bob Danforth, who is a grandfather in DEATH SHIP.

Joe shares the story behind his new book, DEATH SHIP.

We discuss Joe’s writing style, which allows him to complete a first draft in around 60 – 90 days, which is nowhere near the end for his writing process. After the first draft,  he completes six or seven additional drafts before it goes to his editor.
