Police encountered a very bloody scene including what appeared to be a footprint in blood they believed belonged to Chance. The police initially theorized that Dub killed Latricia and then abducted his son Chance to keep him away from his mother. They went as far as to put out an arrest warrant for Dub. But, over the years, the police changed their minds and started to believe that Dub and Chance were more likely victims.
