In 1982, seven people in the Chicago area who took Tylenol capsules, for various illnesses, collapsed into a coma and died within minutes. After it was determined all had died from cyanide poisoning, detectives began the hunt for a sadistic killer. While one man remains a person of interest, the case is still unsolved nearly 38 years later.
Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the case of the Tylenol murders. The investigation was massive and a number of theories emerged. They ranged from disgruntled employees of Johnson & Johnson to a person wanting revenge against stores in the Chicago area. One thing is for certain, these poisonings forever changed the way that over the counter medications are packaged.
