Great story telling.

Podcast form of the greatest live play stream there is. Love these guys.

I had heard of this show, but didn't get around to listening/watching until last year. I can't express how much I love this show and this cast. They're such a wonderful group of people and I'm so grateful to be on this journey with them.

Critical Role is story telling at it's finest. Matthew Mercer's style as a DM is captivating, and inspiring. Long episodes as it is unedited D&D, but worth the listen.

It is alright, but honestly I struggled to get into it. Season 1 has major audio quality issues. That gets fixed by season 2 and production value goes way up. However it just is not as exciting as other DnD podcasts out there. Given how many people love it I have tried to get into it but I guess it is just not for everyone.

I really enjoy Critical role and learnt so much from it as a dm and as a player. However if you listen to this as purely a podcast the live episodes and what you can miss without visual cues always being explained does bring it down a notch imo. However if you wanna hear some amazing voice actors play d&d with a pretty awesome story you will enjoy this.
