Episode brief:

A conversation with Adam LaMascus, regarding the debate around using the term concentration camps, in reference to US refugee detention facilities.

Among other things, we most notably spoke of the equivalences, both historical and current, which support the use of the term, as well as some of the modern-day precedents set by members of the European Union.

Adam is a graduate student in History, currently writing a Master’s Degree thesis, on the topic of the differences in representation of the Holocaust across various countries, as it pertains to the propaganda and self-values they wish to promote.
