RATING
This podcast talks about one of the more intriguing missing person cases I've ever heard about. It is well researched & well made, but I'd expect no less by the BBC and NRK. The hosts Marit & Neil are very clear and concise with their presentation of facts. The mood of this podcast is quite somber and calm, which in conjunction with the subject matter makes this a perfect listen for the autumnal/winter months.
A gripping and thorough investigation of a decades-old mystery, and an excellent listen.
A fascinating true crime podcast. The hosts do a great job of investigating & telling the mysterious story behind the death of the unidentified woman.
First time listening to a true crime podcast. Listened to the entire thing in a day! Excellently done!
One of if not the best investigative journalism podcasts I have ever heard. The story takes so many twists and turns. And then does it again. The reporters that worked on this were amazing and I love that we have even had one follow up since the original run ended.
Excellent and informative coverage of the investigation.
The year was 1971 and in Norway’s Isdal Valley a woman was found dead. She had died in terrible circumstances and no family attended her funeral and to this day we have more questions than answers. This is the plot of Death in Ice Valley brought to us by the BBC and NRK and hosted by Marit Higraff and Neil McCarthy. Through this series Marit and Neil try to uncover just who this woman was and why she was there 40 some years after her tragic death. - Podcast Junkie
Truly the best true crime podcast i've ever listened to, it dives really deep into forensics which I particularly appreciated.
One of my favorite podcasts ever as it really immerses you into the case of the Isdal woman's mysterious death. It's as if you are right there in Norway investigating with the hosts Marit and Neil themselves.
Excellent listen!! Highly recommend!!
Fascinating, intriguing and quite impossible to quit. Binged every episode in 2 days.
Ubelivable story, great, thrilling podcast! One of my personal favourite.
