Volodymyr Stasenko PhD, Professor, Head of Department of Graphic design and art of the book, Ukrainian academy of printing

Education: Lviv School of Applied Arts, (1991); Ukrainian Academy of Printing, Graphics (1996); Lviv Academy of Arts, graduate of the school (2000). Internship: Jagiellonian University (Kraków, Poland, 2003); Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) (Warsaw, Poland, 2018).

Area of professional implementation: visual art, easel painting, graphics, book illustration, graphics, visual communication. Participant of international scientific conferences, plein-air and workshops. Jury member of international exhibitions and competitions, curator and organizer of national and international artistic projects, exhibitions, including international ones in Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Germany, Poland, the Russian Federation, Hungary, Slovakia, China, Turkmenistan, Czech Republic.

Member of the UAD Scientific and Methodological Council, member of the Methodological Commission of the "Fine Arts" specialisation at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine 2003 - 2008 - Member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, specialisation: art, linguistics and literary studies. Member of the Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the specialty 022 "Design", accreditation committees "Fine Arts" and "Design". From 2003 to 2007 - head of the scientific topic "The system of images of Ukrainian book graphics".

Exhibitions: Participant of international exhibitions (China, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria). He conducted 7 personal exhibitions: 1993 - Kraków (Poland), Freiburg (Germany); 1997, 1999, 2018 - Lviv; 1999, 2000 - Bayreuth (Germany). Scientific papers: 98 publications (86 scientific, 12 educational and methodological).

Awards: Winner of Art Exhibitions. Institute of Ukrainian Studies grant (Canada, 2002); winner of the All-Ukrainian competition; Book Art; (Kiev, 2003); grant from the University of Queen Jadwiga Jagiellońska in Kraków (Poland, 2003); Regional Award in the field of culture (2015); Honorary Artist of Ukraine (2016); Regional award for known scientists and known experts (2017). For scientific and educational achievements badge (2018); Award of the International Watercolour Festival (Czech Republic, 2018).

Public activities: Member of the Union of Art Critics and Historians (1998); Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine (2005); Head of the graphic design department of the Lviv branch of the Designers (2006 - 2019) Chairman of the NGO "Association of Lviv Artists" (2008).
