Came here looking for an explanation on why the dirty water from my shower makes my skin dehydrated to the point of flakiness and peeling. It's like you've spent all day under the Australian summer sun without any sunscreen, and copped a big old case of sun stroke. Pleasantly surprised by the Dirty Water podcast though, even though i'm 1) not a surfer, and 2) un-cured from this debilitating skin condition. Found it to be a great insight into the strange, scaly underbelly of surf culture though. Subscribed.
